A harpaille is a herd of deer and young deer, it’s also a quartet of harps, in a forest of strings!
La Harpaille is an experimental sound bubble of four harps, and it’s the rich repertoire and musical personality of the four harpists Célestine Doedens, Claire-Audrey Desnos, Eva Fogelgesang and Hoëla Barbedette. Over solos and tutti pieces, they offer a panorama of compositions with diverse inspirations, and traditional music from Brittany, Ireland, Ecuador or the Balkans, as well as an incursion into the Middle Ages.
